We are hiring a hands-on, strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead PopAI’s financial strategy, governance, and growth enablement.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will own end-to-end financial operations — from FP&A, M&A execution, and capital structure optimization, to investor and lender readiness.
What You’ve Done
- 12+ years of progressive financial leadership, with at least 5 years in senior or executive finance roles.
- Strong background in BPO and technology sectors, with deep understanding of operational economics, cost control, and client pricing.
- Proven experience in M&A execution — leading diligence, valuation, deal negotiation, and post-close integration.
- Direct experience with or from one of the Big Four accounting firms (or their Philippine associates).
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent financial certification preferred.
- Strategic mindset combined with the ability to get hands-on in daily financial management.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and board-level presentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with private credit, venture debt, or acquisition financing.
- Exposure to AI, SaaS, or platform-based business models.
- Familiarity with international reporting standards (IFRS/US GAAP) and cross-border compliance frameworks.

The ideal candidate is both a financial architect and an operator — someone who can think strategically about growth and structure, while executing rigorously across forecasting, controls, and value creation. You will collaborate closely with the CEO, COO, and Board to steer the company through rapid expansion, acquisitions, and platform investments.
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned to growth, profitability, and capital allocation priorities.
- Partner with the CEO and COO to translate business goals into financial roadmaps and investment models.
- Build scalable financial infrastructure — from reporting and forecasting to compliance and audit.
M&A, Corporate Development & Integration
- Lead all financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and integrations — from valuation and due diligence to synergy tracking and Day 1/100 execution.
- Support deal structuring, pricing models, and financial diligence for target acquisitions and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Head of Integration and COO to ensure smooth operational and financial integration of acquired entities.
Governance, Compliance & Controls
- Oversee statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance in the Philippines and across global entities.
- Maintain robust internal controls, accounting accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Strengthen governance frameworks and financial discipline across all business units.
Financial Planning & Performance Management
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking to ensure precision in revenue, margin, and cash flow management.
- Implement frameworks for margin protection, cost optimization, and pricing strategy in BPO and SaaS environments.
- Deliver timely financial dashboards, board packs, and lender reports with clarity and accuracy.
Capital Markets & Investor Relations
- Partner with the CEO on fundraising, lender engagement, and investor updates.
- Manage capital structure, debt drawdowns, and liquidity strategy with clear covenant monitoring.
- Present financial narratives to external stakeholders with confidence and precision.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the finance team, driving high performance, accountability, and cross-functional alignment.
- Foster a culture of ownership, analytical rigor, and proactive communication.
